The Nathaniel Russell House
51 Meeting Street | Charleston

The Nathaniel Russell house has been restored it's original interiors. Every paint color is the same as the year it was built in 1808 through paint chip archeology. As you wander through the grandeur of the house you are taken back in time. From an original free flying, spiral staircase to gold trimmed ceilings, you will be in awe throughout the entire tour. The Historic Charleston Foundation has done an incredible job restoring this house and keeping the history alive. Touring this beautiful house museum, along with the Aiken-Rhett house, is definitely a must when visiting the historic city of Charleston.
